How to bring back Democracy

--Abolish the Electoral college. We are the “united states”.
--No candidate can run under a political party label, only issues.
--All candidates could only accept equal government financing. No special interest, corporate, union, or PAC money.
--Candidates cannot use their own money for running for office. Eliminate the advantage of wealthy candidates.
--Neutralize the DNC & RNC relating to political influence.
-Individual contributions of up to $100 per candidate would be OK, with no more than 5% of employees or members allowed from any corporation or union up to a maximum of the amount needed for basic filing fees and startup expenses not to exceed $50,000 in total per issue or candidate. This would encourage grass roots volunteerism to support issues.
--Candidates are not allowed to advertise in any private media(TV, Radio,, newspaper). A NPR type station could only air candidate information; with equal time. No negative information, rumors, hyperbole would be acceptable. All information would have to screened for authenticity and accuracy, before being aired or printed, by an independent body made up of equal commissioners from each side of political influence.
--Each candidate may have a website with information about themselves and the issues that is checked for accuracy and authenticity.
--Any written information would be subject to authentication and accuracy. “Madison Avenue” and public relation spin doctors would not be allowed in any campaigning.
--No religious organization would be allowed to endorse any specific candidate, issue, or proposition.
--Any candidate while running, or in office would be subject fines, imprisonment, or dismissal for taking or using any private money.
--Any Senator, Congress, or Cabinet adviser person who votes fror a war declaration would have to have their child or themselves serve on the front lines of combat.
